After placing the Country Manager for our client’s operations in Australia, we were asked to assist with the search of a Chief Marketing Officer and VP Human Resources for their US operations (based in Texas). Our client had already engaged 2 US-based search firms but they were not able to identify relevant talent from various shortlists following 3 months of search.
We spoke with a range of executives from our existing and extensive US network, as well as conducting a fresh search based on our in-depth knowledge of our client’s needs and culture. We utilised our in-house research team to identify other possible profiles. 29 initial virtual conversations were had with info packs sent, with 18 candidates then progressing to a detailed 90min virtual interview.
Within 3 weeks of taking the brief for each appointment, we presented a shortlist of 5 candidates per role. Following 4 rounds of interviews over a 4 week period, our client had signed acceptances from both of their preferred candidates.
